Spring 2026

Seattle Parks and Recreation are currently doing planning and site analysis. This includes the following:

  • Planning our engagement timeline and methodology
  • Analyzing the site to understand challenges and opportunities
  • Evaluating opportunities to incorporate accessible pathways to picnic seating

Stay tuned for more information about our first engagement opportunity to provide your input on the plan for the park.

This project was selected for funding as a result of the Parks CommUNITY Fund public nomination and voting process. Learn more about the process here.

Project Description

This project will add community gathering and play elements to Haller Lake Street End such as tables, benches, bench swing, sandbox, or other small desired amenities to make the park more welcoming. Haller Lake street end is the only public access to the lake and does not have space for kids and families to gather and use the park.
