Project Description
This project will create an Indigenous cultural outdoor space at the Green Lake and may include a shelter, art, and/or other community gathering elements. Integrating nature and community will help cultivate spaces for cultural knowledge sharing, wellness activities and creative endeavors. It will make spaces like Green Lake more inclusive and welcoming to frontline communities and prioritize more culturally-rich park elements in predominately white, affluent neighborhoods.
