Winter 2025
Thank you for your input on the Judkins Park Renovations! We have created the final design layout and are working on design details. In-person meeting details are coming soon!
Project Description
The project will renovate the playground, both the upper and lower restrooms, and improve accessibility. While the project is small in scope, the team has a focused commitment to preserving the park’s historical significance while advancing equity and accessibility. We will seek to expand the scope to include community priorities as budget allows.
During construction, the contractor will need to close a portion of the park. Seattle Parks and Recreation and the contractor hired for the project will work to minimize the impact on the neighborhood. Thank you for your understanding.

- A Personal Point of View, LLC, led by Margo Jones a community leader and Judkins Park resident, is co-leading outreach to connect with the community, build trust, and conduct a codesign process representative of the community.
