Early 2026

Updated February 3, 2026

SPR would like to thank everyone who provided feedback related to their experiences and opportunities at Lake City Mini Park.

We are providing a summary of the feedback we heard along with some preferred potential uses in the ‘November 2025 Feedback’ document linked here: Lake City Mini Park Nov. 2025 Feedback Summary Report.

At this point, the park has been improved with lighting, ornamental fencing, new operating hours, public art, and landscaping. New bistro furniture will be installed in late winter. The Parks Activation Team is now taking the lead on developing partnerships and agreements for programming. To find out more or participate in activation, contact Tom Diamond, Program Coordinator at tom.diamond@seattle.gov .

Project Description

This community-centered initiative invites residents, businesses, and organizations in Lake City to come together to enhance the safety, vitality, and inclusivity of the neighborhood park.
