Thanks to everyone who joined us at our open house and responded to our survey to share your input on the preferred schematic design.

In early 2024, Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) completed the Off-Leash Area (OLA) Expansion Study, which identified multiple suitable sites for future OLA development. Sites at Othello Playground and West Seattle Stadium were funded for development and are now underway.

This project will build an OLA in the current lawn space in the southwest corner of the park, featuring a fenced area for unleashed dogs, seating, and a planted stormwater bioretention area.
