Seattle Parks and Recreation is currently doing pre-planning and site analysis to determine the final scope of the project. This includes:

This project was selected for funding as a result of the Parks CommUNITY Fund public nomination and voting process. Learn more about the process here.

Install Duwamish cultural artwork and environmental education signage, under Tribal consultation, to reflect the importance of the Duwamish River's salmon and the land being a sacred place of the Duwamish Tribe. This will make a welcoming and safe park where people can experience nature and connect with the history of this land and indigenous culture.
