The Banchero Legacy Group is making a generous donation to Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) to update the outdoor basketball courts at Rainier Playfield. The scope of work proposed includes court resurfacing, addition of youth hoops, and additional site furnishing.

Design Principles

• To celebrate the legacy of Seattle sports, particularly in this region of Seattle.
• To provide a more functional and festive place for basketball players and community members alike.
• To elevate the aesthetic and spatial qualities of the court in line with the basketball excellence from this community.
