Project Description
Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) has established a Sewer and Drainage Restoration Program where funds are allocated to assess, repair, and maintain sewage and drainage infrastructure throughout Seattle Parks. The repair and maintenance of these facilities are essential to ensuring they function as intended. In 2025, three project sites with known drainage issues were selected for assessment and design.
Green Lake Pitch and Putt underwent an initial drainage assessment in Fall 2025, which launched the design and permitting phases. Construction at this site is anticipated for Spring 2027. Improvements will address excessive ponding in the northern portion of the Pitch and Putt through minor grading and expansion of catch basins to direct water into existing stormwater infrastructure.
