Early 2026

Seattle Parks and Recreation would like to thank everyone who provided feedback related to their experiences and opportunities at Seven Hills, Tashkent, and Broadway Hill parks.

We are providing a summary of the feedback we heard along with some preferred potential uses in the ‘November 2025 Feedback’ document linked here.

We would like to present recommended actions based on the feedback we heard on Tuesday, February 10 at 6 p.m. at Miller Community Center (330 19th Ave. E., Seattle, WA 98112) to discuss options for activation, review preferred uses, partnerships, and potential next steps.

Seven Hills Park is currently closed and SPR will extend the closure until late February 2026.

Project Description

This community-centered initiative invites residents, businesses, and organizations on Capitol Hill to come together to enhance the safety, vitality, and inclusivity of these neighborhood parks. This activation strategy seeks to address ongoing challenges such as safety concerns, accessibility barriers, and park misuse by fostering open dialogue and transparent partnerships.
